Sunday 30 May 2010

It's been a very quiet couple of weeks.
Just more of the usual... and it's getting colder too... but not as cold as Tassie...lol

I've only managed a few layouts but here they are... very simple ones!

and I made a start on Charlie Brown's album...

And decided it was time to start using some of the tins I have here.
This one is going to be an album of the boys throughout the years. I'm going to be doing these layouts digitally so that they're not bulky.
We'll see how I go!

And of course my baby boy is growing.... we took him for a drive the other week to the vets to see how much he weighed... yes he's a very healthy 3.7kg now...
Getting noticeably bigger than Charlie too...

Charlie Brown has been getting into trouble this week...

Today he was decided he'd like to find out about the hanging baskets in the cat run... but of course a bird flew by and he had to chase it... beside the point that the basket went from under him when he tried to jump out....
Luckily he was quick enough to catch himself on the side of the basket before landing on the ground, so it wasn't much of a fall.

I did get a pic of him in the basket though....

I've now moved the basked, and he did try to get int he basket again, but he missed so hopefully he's now learnt his lesson!

Here's Gryfn and Charlie getting into mischief....

and Gryfn has taken a liking to my chair... every time I get up out of it he curls up in it. This afternoon he was quite happy sleeping there...

Gryfn is getting big now... I'm really going to have to get a set of scales so I can weigh him. He's getting too big for the kitchen scales now.
But I did try to measure him... but not too hard... lol
I got some scrapping done yesterday and today....

I covered a small journal that I made to carry around in my bag so I can write down all the ideas for future projects that I have. Works out well as I can write down the papers I want to use, and the various projects so I don't forget them.

Of course I used Websters Pages on it.

Another project I have in mind is a planner, but I'm still working out exactly what I will be doing with it and what I want in it. I might just reuse these covers for it, but will see. Might want something different by then!

And I started an 8x8 album for my favourite photos. Some photos I take I just absolutely love... whether sunsets, sunrises, pics of the kids, or a landscape. To me I just love these photos, so I wanted somewhere to keep them.
So here is the cover of the album...

The Bo Bunny Mumma-razzi was just perfect for this!

And I managed to get 2 of the pages done...

This photo of a rhino at Perth Zoo I just love... it's just so natural....

And I took this photo of a sunrise at Augusta in 2006 when I was over there for a scrapbooking retreat. It still remains one of my favourite photos ever...

Of course there's Websters Pages there...

Happy Mother's Day

And Yes I've been spoilt... and the boys have been reasonably well behaved... well for them at any rate... lol
But they did let me sleep in so really that's all I wanted... that and a quiet day which I had.
But of course I did some scrapping while I watched some movies I've had recorded for ages. So I did this tin to hold all of the 6x4 heritage photos I had scanned in from Mum and had printed. At least now I can name them all and we know where they all are.
But here's the tin...

And Friday I had a quiet day at home and watched the True Blood episodes I'd recorded... still now sure about it but it is growing on me.
And of course I scrapped some simple layouts too...

The cat run

is pretty well finished....

just some netting needs replacing...

so here are the pics of the wonderful space Gryfn and Charlie Brown just love...

Gryfn looking fairly comfortable in the garden...

And testing out the scratching post/stump I commandeered from dh.... and playing king of the castle with charlie brown...

Gryfn is growing

I said in the last post how much Gryfn is growing, but tonight I got some photos of him with Charlie Brown....

Now remember, Charlie is 5 months old and Gryfn is 4 months old...

Just a bit of difference in their sizes.... it will get greater.

and I've also had some friends at me to take a pic of his paws to see how big they are, so I took this one tonight with his paw on my hand.

And of course, while I'm taking the pics Gryfn had to investigate the camera....

But the boys have been very good lately... playing out in the cat run now that it is fully roofed. I will have to get some new pics of it, but still have some bits and pieces to do in there!
Charlie has taken a liking to my hair too... playing with it during the night when I'm asleep, and also climbing my shoulder if he can to attack it... it's getting old fast!
But Gryfn is my beautiful boy... and he's starting to want to cuddle up to me which is great... but only for short times please!

But tonight they're both curled up asleep on the cat tower....

Lots of layouts

yes... with a long weekend last weekend and no internet access I decided I really needed to spend some time scrapping...
And with some new papers from Prima and the new range Mama-razzi from Bo Bunny I was all set and had a lot of fun!

I just love those Mama-razzi papers and I've seen a mini album made with it that I'm just going to have to do!!! well once I re-stock my supplies of Mama-razzi.... lol

And Gryfn is growing beautifully.... weighed him this morning and he's now 3.2kg. Not bad for only being 4 months old!
And poor Charlie Brown was snipped and chipped this week so when dad went away he felt very sorry for himself and curled up and didn't want to play. I really wondered if there was something wrong with him, so I took him back to the vets to get checked. Turned out there was nothing wrong with him but being a sook! lol
But Dad's back home and he's all better and running amok through the house.
Maybe Charlie Brown knew he was in trouble for getting onto the roof the other day! Of course Mum was the one who had to climb up there and get him back down.
And he was weighed too at the vets and is 2.8kg, definately much lighter than Gryfn, especially when there's a month between the two of them.
And of course I do have a photo to share of them but I need to take some more!
