A share....

Finally I've gotten around to taking some photos of some layouts I've done over the last few weeks....
So without further ado... here they are!

And here's something special I made...
A new photo box!
I did it in the style of shabby vintage and had a lot of fun playing with different things.
I used Websters Pages paper... gotta love those papers... they're gorgeous!!! and some of the new Prima vines...

Happy Mother's Day...

I hope everyone was totally and utterly spoilt!!!!!

I know I was and had a perfectly lovely day with all the kids and dh!
And some of my most precious gifts were the cards that all of the kids gave me wishing me a Happy Mother's Day, and the scrapbook pages. They were made with their hearts and they all put their love into them which makes them even more special to me!

I'm still having trouble finding the time to scrap, but hopefully things settle down soon and I can do some.
I did a little project this week but can't share as yet... I will in time!!!!

And I've just started on another recipe box from Kaiser. I'm having a lot of fun with this and trying out some new techniques so will share when I finish.

Have yourselves a wonderful week and don't forget to tell your kids you love them!!!!

Life goes on...

And there's not much you can do about things sometimes.
Things have begun to settle down, the girls and boys are all settling in as well...
School holidays are nearly over (thank God!)and the kids will be back at school on Wednesday. So what have we had over the last 2 weeks... we've started a reward system for the kids with pocket money at the end of the week depending on their behaviour and also a new roster of jobs which the kids are all very happy with as they are all helping to cook and clean.

But they've also been doing some scrapbooking and card making. Well that's actually kept all five of them busy for the last 2 days! lol

And I've even managed to get some scrapping done with the blind challenges over at S4L this weekend...

And I managed to do a couple of other layouts too....

And another 2, but I can't share them yet....

But that's all from me at the moment, just a short share.... but remember to have a good week and give your kids a hug and tell you you love them!

Life Sux!

Did you know that....?
Just when you think you're on track and life is good... it throws you a curve ball...!

In our case just about the biggest curve ball anyone could get. My lovely SIL passed away 2 weeks ago now... March 23, 2009. Suddenly... no warning... talk about shock.

But she left behind 2 beautiful little girls.... these 2 girls are now in dh's and my care, well at least until the end of the year, as their father passed away several years ago.

There's been a lot of rearranging of the house, our lives... and generally just getting our heads around things. But the most important thing for dh and I atm is the kids, our nieces and our sons as we all come to terms with what has happened.

So therefore no scrapping lately. I'm hoping things can settle down... at least for a little while!

I think I lost Saturday or Sunday somewhere.....

Anyway a new month and the S4L newsletter is out so now I can share the projects I did with the wonderful pack Shelley had for us to play with this month....
Lots of lovely Christmas papers and this month I was on layouts, so here's my share...

3 layouts out of one pack equals great value in my eyes....!
Head on over to S4L and you can see the projects the other DT members did with their packs. There's some gorgeous stuff there!
And don't forget the S4L retreat coming up in May.... I so wish I could go!

Anyway it's week 9 in Project 365 and I've managed to keep up to date....
Here's my lo this week....

And of course I did more scrapping! Well actually most of these are from today....lol

Thanks for dropping by and having a look.... and if you're looking for some challenges, drop over S4L and have a look... there's a lot happening!

Do you live in Queensland????

And wanna go on a retreat????? Well Shelley at S4L is having a retreat in May...I so wanna go, but unfortunately for me it's just too far away... :(
But I thought I would share the link with you all... now aren't I generous???? sharing my little secret with you all????
Here's the link....

Go if you can... I'm sure it will be a whole lotta fun....!

This week I took delivery of some new Kaiser Craft OTP stuff.... a recipe box, recipe book holder and also a memo board...
I just couldn't wait to play... so here are my pics...

Used Kaisercraft Sakura range for it and it does look awesome... especially IRL!

And here is the recipe book holder

Unfortunately you can't see all the detail in the photo but it does look awesome! I used a fancy pants overlay, which will help to protect it.

And I've also run the Blind Scrapping challenges at S4L this weekend... you still have time to enter if you hurry....
Here are the layouts I did for it... very simple ones, but then, everyone is so very busy lately!

And of course, it's week 8 in Project 365...

And if you've managed to make it this far, here are the rest of the layouts from this week...lol

Well if you've made it this far... well done. Hope you leave a comment and make sure you have yourselves a fantastic week!
