Gryfn is growing

I said in the last post how much Gryfn is growing, but tonight I got some photos of him with Charlie Brown....

Now remember, Charlie is 5 months old and Gryfn is 4 months old...




Just a bit of difference in their sizes.... it will get greater.

and I've also had some friends at me to take a pic of his paws to see how big they are, so I took this one tonight with his paw on my hand.



And of course, while I'm taking the pics Gryfn had to investigate the camera....


But the boys have been very good lately... playing out in the cat run now that it is fully roofed. I will have to get some new pics of it, but still have some bits and pieces to do in there!
Charlie has taken a liking to my hair too... playing with it during the night when I'm asleep, and also climbing my shoulder if he can to attack it... it's getting old fast!
But Gryfn is my beautiful boy... and he's starting to want to cuddle up to me which is great... but only for short times please!

But tonight they're both curled up asleep on the cat tower....

Lots of layouts

yes... with a long weekend last weekend and no internet access I decided I really needed to spend some time scrapping...
And with some new papers from Prima and the new range Mama-razzi from Bo Bunny I was all set and had a lot of fun!










I just love those Mama-razzi papers and I've seen a mini album made with it that I'm just going to have to do!!! well once I re-stock my supplies of Mama-razzi.... lol

And Gryfn is growing beautifully.... weighed him this morning and he's now 3.2kg. Not bad for only being 4 months old!
And poor Charlie Brown was snipped and chipped this week so when dad went away he felt very sorry for himself and curled up and didn't want to play. I really wondered if there was something wrong with him, so I took him back to the vets to get checked. Turned out there was nothing wrong with him but being a sook! lol
But Dad's back home and he's all better and running amok through the house.
Maybe Charlie Brown knew he was in trouble for getting onto the roof the other day! Of course Mum was the one who had to climb up there and get him back down.
And he was weighed too at the vets and is 2.8kg, definately much lighter than Gryfn, especially when there's a month between the two of them.
And of course I do have a photo to share of them but I need to take some more!

Busy busy

DH and DS1 didn't get home till late Friday night from hockey in Perth (and no the boys didn't do well... 5th overall... but they tried!) so that meant that Saturday was to be an easy day.
Just the normal washing and cleaning and then I spent the afternoon matching photos to sketches and paper, so now I have about 20 kits sitting there waiting for me to do the pages and add embellishments.
So of course, what did I do this afternoon.... actually scrapped!!!
and I managed 3 layouts....




And during the week I got around to redoing my memo board...




And the final share is of the canvasses I finally got done last weekend to go on the wall in the entry passage....
Love the way these turned out!




So here's to more scrapping this week!!!!

But finally I can't leave you without a pic of my favourite boy.... I couldn't work out whether he wanted a drink or a swim... lol

15 weeks...

and he's had his first week at home. Gryfn has settled in really well over the last week.
I was a bit worried to begin with as he wasn't eating a lot, but now he's settled right in and running amok!

I thought last night I would weigh both Gryfn and Charlie Brown to see how much they weighed... Gryfn weighs approximately 2.3kg and Charlie Brown weighs 2.5kg. Not bad really considering they are a month apart.
Charlie Brown has been a bit of a bully but they have both sorted themselves out now and are playing together a lot more nicely. There's less meow's from bites... lol

And of course it wouldn't be a good post without some photos...
I took this one the other day of the two of them curled up together on my desk...


This afternoon I let them both out in the cat run to play. I have to supervise as we still don't have the roof on yet but I took some beautiful photos....

I've been really lucky with Gryfn as he loves to be brushed. I pull the brush out every night and give him a quick brush, that way he will be well used to it when his long coat comes in.
Charlie Brown on the other hand, likes to attack the brush. Maybe I need to look at getting a rubber mitt for him rather than a slicker brush!

And Gryfn's favourite past time... watching the goldfish in the fish tank... lol.. maybe he thinks he'll get one one day!

I've spent this weekend spending time with Gryfn, settling him in.
He has settled in really really well. Was a bit flighty for a while but with the kids running amok around the house that's not really very surprising.
For the first time right new he's sitting on my lap. He loves to be with me, especially sitting at my feet or next to me on my desk, but doesn't seem to like being cuddled a lot.
But that in itself suits me, as I'm usually busy doing something and I love the company without having someone or something always on top of me.
i was a bit worried for a little while about how much Gryfn was actually eating as he didn't seem to eat much at all, but it's settled down, and even though he is still eating only a little amount, he is eating. He's just not a pig like Charlie Brown!
I've also discovered that Gryfn likes bacon and also coffee... he had a sampling of my coffee yesterday morning but it was too hot this morning.

He loves to sleep on the bed with us, but at the feet... he doesn't need to be on top of me which is good. Sometimes he will curl up at the top of the pillow, but he's never gone to the kids beds yet.

Both Charlie Brown and Gryfn can't wait for the cat run to be finished. DH just has to get the roof done and it's all set for them to go out there.
I will just need to sort out some shelves etc for them to play around on, but I can at least let them out there without worrying about them getting out.
