It's been a busy week....

But only 1 project...lol
This week I worked on my Kaisercraft Advent Calendar.
I used Websters Papers and lots of other little bits and pieces and even though it was very very fiddly, it's come out gorgeous if I do say so myself.
I'm very pleased with it...
So here are the pics... including lots of detail pics, cause I couldn't pick what was my favourite part...

Happy little vegemites...

See I told ya I'd remember to update... lol... well that's if anyone ever reads this blog any more...
We're a happy household this weekend after the local show. The kids worked hard and did very well, with 5 firstsm 3 seconds and numerous merits between four of the kids so they were absolutely wrapped.
And I did well too... was very pleased with 6 firsts, 3 seconds and 3 thirds. I also got most points in scrapbooking and for the first time I got the grand champion rosette for my Kalbarri album. I was absolutely wrapped to get that for the first time.
So here is a share of a few pages from the album....

Yes....

I'm back and I'm bad.... lol

You get that. There has just been so much going on and honestly I haven't had the energy to blog.
It's even been hard to post on my regular websites I visit.... so I have to apologise for my quietness everywhere. I'm hoping that things settle soon and life can settle into a routine and something resembling normal...
Not that I remember what normal is now....

So what has happened in the last couple of months...
DS went away to U13s hockey in Narrogin, and then was selected to try out for the Great Southern Regional team, so that was another trip away. Unfortunately he didn't get selected....
We went on our holiday to Carnarvon... had a fantastic time... the weather was beautiful and so was the country side... very relaxing... just what we needed...
what else...
DS was selected for Indoor Hockey in Perth on the last long weekend... he loved it and the team came 4th... well done considering they don't play indoor down here...
And we've just finished 2 weeks of school holidays and I've just finished 2 weeks holiday too.
This one was good... I managed to get lots done around the house, spring cleaned, gardened and managed to get new curtains made too...
It feels good to have accomplished so much....

And as far as scrapbooking...
Yes I've been doing a little, not as much as I used too... but still enjoying it.
I'd share some layouts but honestly I can't remember what I've shared and what I haven't so I think I will leave it to next post and start a new leaf...

So on that note I think it's time for me to go to bed... nite nite!!!

Another day, another week, another layout....

Yes, and not too much happening... getting by day by day...
though the house is quiet atm with the girls away for school holidays, but then again, the boys make a lot of noise just by themselves as boys do!

DS1 went really well at country week recently... we're really proud of him! Especially as he was the only year 8 to go....

But onto other stuff.... scrapbooking!!!
The newsletter came out recently for S4L, so here is my latest project for them and this month it was my turn for cards....

It's a great pack... especially for boys so go take a look. And also Shelley has uploaded a lot of other new stock at great prices ... well worth a look!

We've also got a birthday week celebration coming up too kicking off with a cybercrop on Friday July 24... drop on over... there'll be some great challenges...
especially as I'm setting the challenges.... have you got lots of photos and eyelets lying around..... lol

But I also managed to get the layouts done for the recent blind scrapping over at S4L... here they are....

And it was my turn for the chinese whispers....

So other than that there's not been much. I've started a mini album from our holiday last year but am only half way through.
Also spent time rearranging my scrap space, and I've put my order in with dh for a couple of shelving units... so fingers crossed I will get them soon....

So have yourselves a great last week of school holidays and I will catch you soon...

don't forget to drop into S4L!!!

Finally...

I found some time to take some pics of some layouts I've done recently.
I seem to have less time to scrap, let alone take pics of the layouts I do manage to get done.
But I guess better late than never...

So here are the latest layouts....

These first 3 were for a recent cc over at S4L....

This one I've done in Shabby Vintage style (I'm loving this style atm) for the S4L June sketch. Head on over and have a go....

And this one was for the June S4L Sketch Recipe challenge...

And there's a new challenge over at S4L too... choose your own layout. Remember when we were kids and you read books that you chose the pathway of the character and the ending... well this challenge is similar to that... depending on your choices depends on how your layout looks! Such a great concept ... woohoo Beccy!!!

So if you're looking for a challenge head on over to S4L... there's some great challenges on the go each and every month.

And lastly, these are the 'just because' layouts I've done, trying to get back into the swing of scrapping. I seem to have lost my passion/mojo for scrapping lately...

So that's all from me for the time being... don't forget to hug your kids close and tell them you love them.... have a great week!

A share....

Finally I've gotten around to taking some photos of some layouts I've done over the last few weeks....
So without further ado... here they are!

And here's something special I made...
A new photo box!
I did it in the style of shabby vintage and had a lot of fun playing with different things.
I used Websters Pages paper... gotta love those papers... they're gorgeous!!! and some of the new Prima vines...

Happy Mother's Day...

I hope everyone was totally and utterly spoilt!!!!!

I know I was and had a perfectly lovely day with all the kids and dh!
And some of my most precious gifts were the cards that all of the kids gave me wishing me a Happy Mother's Day, and the scrapbook pages. They were made with their hearts and they all put their love into them which makes them even more special to me!

I'm still having trouble finding the time to scrap, but hopefully things settle down soon and I can do some.
I did a little project this week but can't share as yet... I will in time!!!!

And I've just started on another recipe box from Kaiser. I'm having a lot of fun with this and trying out some new techniques so will share when I finish.

Have yourselves a wonderful week and don't forget to tell your kids you love them!!!!
