February 7

Ok... I knew it would happen... and really so did you! lol... there was no way in the world I would find time to take a photo every day.
So I've decided I'm going to be honest here... and post a photo that I've taken and love or has some special meaning for me.

I'm also going to start posting the pics of my new furbaby even though I don't have him yet...

But here is the first pic I have got... he's 3 weeks old and was 300g.
It's a couple of weeks old, but hey... I had to work out how to get it off my phone!

Yes

This week I managed to scrap.
Something simple, but it was a Bazzill Zippered Album I've had sitting here for ages.
It was quite easy to do really, so no excuse for getting the other one i have here done too as soon as I find some pics.

Its an album about the so-called "perfect storm" that hit Esperance a couple of years ago. I managed to get copies of the photos from work as I wanted to keep a record of this.
I kept it very simple, so I just used the Adirondack colour washes and glimmer mist on the pages to give them some interest without overwhelming the photos.

I have also started to scrap our Kalbarri holiday a couple of years ago too. I did do a mini book but these layouts are all going to go into an album, but it's an album I'm still getting some ideas on as I don't want to buy one but make one and I'm hoping it will work. Will tell you more when I know exactly what I want to do which will probably be when I finish all the layouts.
But here is the first one...

And of course we knew it would all happen, but I haven't been keeping up with the photos of the day. But I will still post special photos, ones I love or ones that have special meaning, so just keep an eye out.

No scrapping!

None whatsoever... I've been flat out in the past week packing, sorting, decluttering and rearranging bedrooms and cupboards.
But I have achieved something... it's all done except for the bottoms of 2 cupboards and that won't take long.

But that doesn't mean I don't have anything to share!
I have a little birdcage I did at christmas time that I kept forgetting to take photos of so thought I would share it with you all.
And of course I used my favourite pattern papers... Websters Pages!
And have you seen all of their new goodies released at CHA... I so can't WAIT to get my hands on them... they are all absolutely gorgeous. It's just a pity I'm on a no spending spree atm....bugger! :(

Oh well here are the pics of the birdcage!

And just in case you wanted to know... it's mine... all mine... and I get to look at it every time I sit at my desk! lol
