It really is absolutely wonderful stuff... and I can't show you anything I did with it cause it's all for the RJR design team secret stuff.... you'll just have to wait until Jenny shows you all on her blog!
But honestly I would way recommend you get some.... from Jenny over at RJR of course!
Now I wonder what I can next do with it..... this is so much fun! lol

A proud mother
Yes I'm very proud of Nicholas. The U11 team came runner-up at Narrogin, unfortunately they lost the grand final, but you get that.
They acquitted themselves well, and did the best they could which as far as we're concerned is brilliant!
And more importantly as a mother, he got there safely and got home safely and he behaved himself. Mind you, by the time they got home they were so tired, excited but tired.
The other teams all did very well also. The U13 boys won the grand final, the U13 girls runners-up as well (they lost the grand final) and the U11 girls were third. So overall they did really really well.
Nicholas cut his foot while up there, but it's all healed now and he only played half the grand final. But yeh.... we're all proud of him!
I did take a photo of him and his flag that he brought home but it was out of focus so I will have to set up another one.
Well there's not been much happening on the scrapping front this week. I've done my layout for the SNC Design Team challenge for week 2. Am really happy with it and it's the first page I've done for an album for the boys. Can't really say much more but they love looking at the layout... lol
I've also done the layout for Christine for the layout swap over at the Boxx. And I sent it off this week and forgot to take a photo... well you get that. I hope she's happy with it.
And that's about it except today I had a very big clean out of my scrap room. I've cleaned out some old diecuts and stickers and sorted all of my chipboard finally so hopefully it will be easier to find things (I hope! lol) so now I have no excuse to go shopping and not to use my stash!
I got the ribbon pack this week from Jenny over at RJR and this month we get to play with some Ribbon Stiff.... this is going to be so much fun. I can't wait to see what the other girls come up with.
So that's about it... I'm off to play with some ribbon... lol
Have yourselves a wonderful week won't you all.

A spit, a class and a book....
and there's my weekend in a nutshell... lol
Yes I spat it big big big time on Saturday morning. Working full time I enjoy the 2 days I get to sleep in, but Saturday it was not going to happen. I had to get up and deal with the kids, etc, etc and meanwhile dh decided he was going to stay in bed.
This was after he had been on holidays for 2 weeks, hadn't done much round the house at all and also had slept in each and every day of his holidays AND after I had asked him to clean the house on Friday because we were getting a babysitter in Friday night to go out to tea. I did want the house to be clean.
But guess what, it didn't been done, so therefore after having a bad nights sleep, no chance of a sleep in and then having to clean house, go to work to clean the office there, and do all the washing, all before my class at 2pm I was definately NOT a happy camper when dh decided to stay in bed.
So guess what, I spat it big time and they all got the message!
But enough of that... over it! well until next weekend I guess when I have to do it all over again!
I did the Advent Calendar class over at Scrapbooking 4 Less on Saturday afternoon with Pippa.
Totally loved it and totally love the calendar. Can't wait till December so the kids can use it.
Looks great doesn't it!
But as the class was about to start, dh tried to redeem himself by coming home with the new Harry Potter book... I was going to wait for it to arrive at the library because I get the paperbaks.
Now that was torture... read the book or do the class lol.
But as soon as the class finished off I went, nose in the book. At 12.30am I decided I had better put it down and go to bed, but as soon as I was up this morning my nose was back until I finished it at 1.30 this afternoon.
Truly it was one of THE BEST books I had ever read. Lots happening and now I have to read it again to catch the little things I missed in the first read.
But no spoilers from me... but it really was full of a lot of surprises! And left the way open for many more books. I look forward to reading them.
And tonight Chelle and Lisa over at Scrap n Crazy kept us all on the edge of our seats waiting for the announcements of who got through to the second round of the DT competition. We all got through so it'll be fun to do the next challenge... a sketch and we have to come up with a challenge for the next CC over there... will have to do something totally crazy I think. lol
I don't think I have much chance with the amount of talent going for it, so I'm just having fun.
We're waiting for Nicholas to come home from Narrogin tonight, the bus isn't due in till 11pm which means they never left till late so I guess one of the teams got through to the final. I hope he played well and really enjoyed himself, but I think he's going to be one very tired little boy tomorrow, so I'm glad they don't have school and that his father is going away this week to Ravey.
Well that's about it really. Off to do some scrapbooking as I have Christine's photo to do for the layout swap so really need to get it done before I do the next SNC dt challenge.
Have yourselves a wonderful day tomorrow won't you all.

A couple of layouts...
I just thought I would upload a couple of layouts I've done over the last few days.
This first one is for the Weekly Challenge over at Scrap N Crazy.
To use a photo that wasn't perfect, 3 pattern paper, 2 cardstock, some chipboard and hand written journalling.
I'm really happy with the way it came out. And it just happens to fit in with the Scrapboxx weekly challenge too which is to scrap a not-perfect photo. What are the odds that that would have the same challenge. lol
These next 2 layouts are from kits I made up to do at the Scrap n Chat day a couple of weeks ago. Finally got around to doing them, though I still have the hidden journalling to do on the Father layout. Just waiting for the right words to fall into place and some peace and quiet to do it in.
You know, I've just looked at those 2 layouts together and I didn't realise that they were similar designs. Oh well.. you get that. They're in different albums so it doesn't matter.
And now I'm doing all the cutting out ready for Pippa's online class over at Scrapbooking 4 Less. It's for an advent calendar. It's going to be a lot of fun and totally awesome.
And tomorrow I have to pack Nicholas's bags for his trip to Narrogin on the weekend for the junior hockey carnial. I'm very proud of him for being selected in the U11 Esperance team, and I am so going to miss him. It'll be the first time he's been away like this.
He's worked hard for it though and totally deserves it. He plays better hockey than I ever did, but I guess it must be in his genes somewhere because his cousins have been selected for various state hockey teams, indoors and outdoors, and his father and I played hockey and so did his grandfather.
But you know, sometimes I wish his father would let up on him and tell him how proud he is of him. Nothing Nicholas does seems to impress Danny much and it doesn't matter what I say. Men, hey!
Anyway, I'm off to cut some more paper. Take care of yourselves and have a wonderful day tomorrow won't you.

I've been slack...
lol... honest I have! well today I haven't done much at all. 1 cj and that's it. I slept in until 10.30 probably because I never went to bed until 1.30am and I wasn't scrapping, I was reading Harry Potter lol....
but aren't we allowed days like this.
I'm re reading all the Harry Potter books ready for when #7 is released this week, but it will probably be a couple of weeks before I get it. I have it booked at the library because I won't buy it until the paperback comes out no matter how much I want to read it.
But I've had a pretty slack week too really. I did a couple of layouts but I won't upload them until later this week... cruel aren't I! lol
But I'm going to upload the layouts I did for the Really Just Ribbons Design Team.
You have to go check out Jenny's blog as she has all the layouts up there. Shazz, Dee and Pippa did some absolutely awesome layouts, so you have to go look!
And also Jenny has a special on the ribbons we used to don't forget to check out her shop either.
So here's my layouts...
This first one is a circle journal I've done. This is going to be full of layouts of my boys from everyone in the group. The photos have all been taken this year. I can't wait to get it back.
I've matched the ribbon up with a piece of pattern paper I found... it all matched beautifully.
And this layout is of Nicholas. As soon as I saw these ribbons I knew they would match this photo. I've used one of the ribbons to create a photo corner and some ricrac from the pack.
Thanks for looking and remember... go check out Jenny's blog for the rest of the teams gorgeous creations.

Busy weekend
Yes the weekend was very busy.
I did this lo on Friday night for the SNC BOM challenge for this month. To scrap a relationship with a relative. I chose my grandparents, as I was very close to them.
Grandad died almost 20 years ago... it really doesn't seem that long ago... and Grandma died in 1995.
I still miss them terribly and I wish they had the chance to see the boys. Yes, I think they would have got on together very well. lol.
I used the Boxx of Scraps pack from Scrapboxx for the layout. This pack just screamed heritage layout and I really love the way it came out. I used a Becky Fleck sketch for the layout.
On Sunday I went to the Scrap n Chat meeting at the Cannery. It was a great turnout. We had 9 girls there for an afternoon of scrapbooking and chatting. We're doing pretty well for only the second get together. We've decided we don't really want any more than 15 as they won't fit comfortably in the Cannery art room. but it was a lot of fun.
I will upload my project tomorrow. Still haven't taken any photos.
And today I got some lovely orders from Maria at Scrapboxx (I just fell in love with her packs this month) and also from Chelle at Scrap n Crazy... Chelle has the MME paper pack on special. The new embossed chipboard is just divine! And I got some absolutely gorgeous prizes in the packs too... thanks girls!
And I'm hoping my order from Shelley at S4L shows up tomorrow with the online classes. They're going to be a lot of fun... Christmas in July ones. Pippa is holding one, an advent calendar, and it looks awesome.
So I think I'm going to playing with all my new goodies....
Have yourselves a wonderful day tomorrow won't you all!

As promised...
Here are the rest of the layouts from the Boxx's cc on the weekend.
This one is about Jonathan... we had use a photo of a person, use their age and write that number of points on them. So totally love this layout and I love this set of photos of Jonathan I took. He's so photogenic.
This next one, we had to use brown, orange and blue and the theme was home.
This one was a quick one, we had about 2 hours to do it and had to use 4 photo corners.
This is a photo of Esperance Port at night I took ages ago for a photo challenge.
And this final one was for Zina's challenge... use doodling and stamping on a layout. So I stamped with the shot glasses like she showed us at the retreat. The photo is out of focus, but I loved the look on Jonathans face and wanted to keep the layout fun. Not sure if I really like it but hey, it's fun. lol
So that's all the layouts. 8 layouts in 2 days so I think that was pretty good.
We've got the Scrap Club on this Sunday so I'm trying to organise some photos for it. The last one was a ball so I'm really looking forward to this one. I've got a btp cube kit I got of Chelle last week, so I'm going to do that and I've got another couple of kits to do so hopefully that will keep me busy.
So have yourself a wonderful day tomorrow and I will catch you all later.

Fun, games and scrapping
I mean what more can a girl ask for I ask you... lol
I had great plans for the weekend... totally clean the house and rearrange the furniture. Well the furniture got rearranged.... and the family room got cleaned but as for the rest of it... it didn't happen.
So what happened...
It was called the Scrapboxx 3rd Birthday Cybercrop! and a night full of fun and games and quite a few challenges thrown in, so the housework took a backseat.
You can't fault Maria... it really was a fantastic effort from her and the dt. Bec won the big prize and good on her! I can't think of anyone who was more deserving of it.
So today I've been doing challenges. I got 3 done last night, but with 8 challenges all up it's enough to keep everyone happy. I have one left to do and have until midnight tomorrow night to upload, so hopefully I can get it started.
So here's some of the layouts... Don't ask me which ones were for which challenge cause I can't remember. Forgive me. lol
This one is of Nicholas on the waterslide. Watch out there's going to be a lot of these ones..
This one is of Kristofer at the zoo. This is one of the enlargements that Shona and the team did for me.
This photo I've had here for ages taken of a fog we had one morning. I could just never match paper to it. Very simple but I love it.
and the last one for tonight...
This is a bio I did for Roz's challenge and is done digitally.
I will upload the others tomorrow night.
Now on to Zina's challenge and I hope you all have a wonderful day tomorrow and thank you so much for reading my blog and leaving comments. I love to read them.
